Niğtaş, Turkey's leading industrial calcite producer, announced at the fair that it is increasing capacity for the paints sector
Niğtaş, which has been supplying calcite—the most natural raw material in paint—to markets worldwide for 30 years, presented its new products at Paintistanbul&Turkcoat Fair, considered the most comprehensive paints and coatings fair in Eurasia and the Middle East.
Niğtaş introduced visitors to calcite, which makes paint more fluid, increases its opacity and at the same time reduces its cost. The company also announced news of its capacity increase.
Niğtaş Grup Şirketler Chairman of the Board Sakin Aruk stated that they are increasing their cooperation with the paints sector day by day and announced that this year they are increasing capacity in their paints group products. Sakin Aruk continued as follows:
"Although the calcite sector is not widely known, it is a key raw material for many sectors including paints. Calcite, which significantly reduces the cost of titanium used in the paints sector, also provides greater opacity with a single stroke.
