M. Akın Akçalı Elected BOSAD Chairman for Second Term

BOSAD (Boya Sanayicileri Derneği), which has served as the sole professional representative of the paints and raw materials sector for 18 years with 72 member organizations and 15 working groups, held its 10th Ordinary General Assembly Meeting with the participation of the İKMİB (İstanbul Kimyevi Maddeler ve Mamulleri İhracatçıları Birliği) Chairman, Chairman of the Turkish Chemical Industry Council, BOSAD members and sector representatives. At the General Assembly meeting held on Thursday, 08 July 2021, M. Akın Akçalı was elected Chairman for the second time. At the General Assembly, where the new Board of Directors principal and alternate members and the Audit Board principal and alternate members were determined, M. Akın Akçalı, who also served as Chairman in the 9th term, was elected to the position of Chairman for the 10th term. The new Board of Directors, comprising M. Akın Akçalı, Ersin Kayalar, Kenan Baytaş, Rami Atikoğlu, Cemal Drahor, Hakan Ünel, Haluk Giray, M. Mutlu Uysal, Mustafa Deryal, Ömer Saim Oğuz, R. Şükrü Ergün, Sakin Aruk, Semih Kılıç, Tayfun Küçükoğlu, Timur Karaoğlu, T. Aydın Kayı, Yakup Benli, will carry out its activities under the BOSAD (Boya Sanayicileri Derneği) umbrella in the 10th term, 19th working year.

In his remarks of thanks regarding the new term chairmanship, Akın Akçalı wished the new period to be auspicious and stated: "With all our activities and working groups, maintaining equal distance with all member organizations we represent, adhering to ethical values, providing information, delivering benefits, remaining impartial, and conducting quality work based on data, I am confident that we will continue to undertake work that contributes to the development of Turkish paint industry as stated in our by-laws."
