Betek Boya Receives Certificate for Combating Epidemic Diseases

During Turkey's fight against COVID-19, Betek Boya continues to implement measures to protect the health of its production facility personnel, employees throughout its supply chain, and customers. Following the ISO COVID-19 Pandemic Disease Control Handbook created through collaboration between the Istanbul Chamber of Industry, Yıldız Technical University, 2DR Group and IIC (International Industrial Certification), Betek Boya implemented measures at its production facilities and earned the right to obtain the ISO COVID-19:2020 Pandemic Disease Control Certificate. Betek Boya became the first pioneering organization to be certified through international inspection, demonstrating its commitment to public health and its practices against pandemic risks affecting the entire world. The ISO COVID-19:2020 Pandemic Disease Control Certificate, which certifies to international standards that Betek Boya has ensured the safety of all processes from the moment raw materials enter its production facility until products reach its customers, was presented to Selim Güray, Health Safety and Environment Manager at Betek Boya, at a ceremony held at Betek Boya's Gebze Factory with the participation of Prof. Dr. Mehmet Burçin Pişkin. The internationally accredited certificate will contribute to the development of the Turkish economy alongside the concepts of sustainability, production continuity and sustainable development, and serves as a passport for Turkish products and services to circulate safely in world markets.
