Beckers Group Announces Global Price Increase for Coil and Industrial Coatings
Beckers Group announced it will increase prices for coil and industrial coatings product groups by up to 8% globally. The increases will take effect in the first quarter of 2020 or as contracts permit. Boris Gorella, CEO of Beckers Group, cited the need to offset the effects of inflation as the key reason for the price increase.
Gorella stated: "Last year, Beckers Group adapted its processes. We launched a performance improvement program to increase efficiency and mitigate the effects of a prolonged inflationary period affecting various cost centers and our raw materials. However, we will need to implement this price increase to continue delivering the same innovation, technical and logistics services that our customers expect from Beckers Group." All affected customers will be contacted directly regarding the price increases for their respective product groups.
