Baumit attended CivilCon event

Baumit participated in the Civil Engineering Convention (CivilCon), organized by Istanbul Technical University (İTÜ) Engineering Preparation Club for the 19th time this year. The event took place on 9-10 March at the Süleyman Demirel Cultural Centre on İTÜ's Ayazağa Campus. Baumit, which develops high-quality building solutions for tomorrow's world, continues to participate in prestigious events supporting the sector's development. Most recently, the company took part in the Civil Engineering Convention (CivilCon), one of the construction sector's largest student events and held for the 19th time this year by Istanbul Technical University's Engineering Preparation Club. At this organization attended by numerous industry representatives and students, the company met with the engineers of the future. At the CivilCon'24 event held at the Süleyman Demirel Cultural Centre on İTÜ's Ayazağa Campus, Baumit Turkey General Manager Atalay Özdayı delivered an outstanding presentation titled 'Something Different', explaining the company's distinctive perspective in the sector and the pioneering projects it leads, while offering valuable advice to the engineers of the future.

In his address to aspiring young engineers, Atalay Özdayı stated that doing one's work with dedication and pursuing the passion to explore beyond horizons without being bound by limits is what makes things 'Something Different', and continued: "At Baumit, we do our work differently and, with our identity as pioneers of innovation in plastering, we are shaping our sector.
