Axalta Partners with Xaar to Deliver Digital Paint Technology Axalta, one of the world's leading paint companies, has formed a partnership with Xaar, a leading manufacturer of on-demand inkjet printing technologies, to introduce Axalta NextJet™, a next-generation, sustainable digital paint technology for the transportation sector. Digital paint, also referred to as application with minimal overspray, is an advanced paint application method that provides precise paint placement. Through the patented technology of Axalta and Xaar, Axalta NextJet™ offers design flexibility for two-tone vehicles and enables customers to create patterns, details and finishes in a sustainable manner. The award-winning digital paint coating technology also eliminates masking, reducing labor, energy and waste while increasing productivity and efficiency rates. This can contribute to a 30% reduction in CO2 emissions and significant cost savings for two-tone vehicle manufacturers.
