Assan Panel Introduces New-Generation Insulation Technology

Next-Generation Insulation Technology from Assan Panel A new era is beginning in buildings with SmartCore Next-Generation Insulation Technology, developed in the R&D laboratories of Assan Panel, one of the global leaders in the insulated panel sector. Assan Panel announced that with its SmartCore technology-equipped insulated panels, it delivers significant energy efficiency, fire safety and longevity in buildings. It was noted that SmartCore-filled sandwich panels have the distinction of being the first in the world with a lambda value of 0.0175 W/mK. Thanks to these panels, buildings achieve lower energy consumption, reduced carbon dioxide emissions and heightened environmental responsibility. Tolga Akar, General Manager of Assan Panel, which continues to strengthen its leadership in the sector through its products and services, commented on the matter as follows: "Our company's most important areas of expertise are thermal insulation, acoustic insulation, airtightness and fire resistance. With SmartCore Next-Generation Insulation Technology developed in our R&D laboratories, we continue to achieve firsts in our sector. Our goal is to reduce energy consumption in buildings through proper thermal insulation and contribute to our economy. Previously, we achieved global record values in fire resistance, especially in mineral wool-insulated panels, and with our technology we have obtained certifications that ensure maximum efficiency in thermal insulation. SmartCore offers the highest combined performance in the sector on a global scale" he said.

About the Panels

Insulated roof and facade panels manufactured with SmartCore technology developed in Assan Panel's R&D laboratories provide thermal efficiency that is twice that of mineral fiber and 20 percent higher than polyurethane fill, with a lambda value of 0.0175 W/mK. These panels, which demonstrate higher performance at lower thicknesses, thus provide savings in assembly and transport costs. SmartCore technology, which has begun to be used in all insulated panel groups produced by the company, including solar-capped panels compatible with rooftop PV systems, delivers high performance in buildings.
