Arkema Supporting Circularity in Powder Coatings Arkema, together with a consortium of several companies, has decided to develop post-consumer recycling (from bottles and other plastic materials) to make monomers suitable for reuse as raw materials in order to obtain more sustainable polyester powder resins for the coatings market. The project, named Suschempol*, is being carried out by the Spanish High Council for Scientific Research. The project was implemented by Spain's Ministry of Science and Innovation and the State Research Organization as part of the Next Generation EU initiative. Neil Tariq, Global Director of Coating Resins at Arkema, stated: "This project aligns with Arkema in every way.
