AR Metallizing Announces Acquisition of Eurofoil Paper Coating GmbH Metalized paper manufacturer AR Metallizing has announced it has secured an agreement to acquire Berlin-based Eurofoil Paper Coating GmbH. Completion of the transaction is subject to approval by German cartel authorities. Eurofoil is one of Europe's leading producers of laminated and metalized interior substrates. Over the past 60 years, it has built a comprehensive interior substrate portfolio encompassing laminated, metalized and pure sliced and coated paper products. The well-equipped facility has a strong asset base featuring highly automated equipment such as water-based polishing and metallization lines that rank among the world's fastest. The facility holds all key certifications to serve its customers effectively. AR Metallizing's access to a Berlin factory globally will complement its existing facilities in Belgium, Italy, North America and Brazil. Eurofoil will be rebranded as AR Metallizing upon completion of the process. This acquisition will bring AR Metallizing's global workforce to approximately 700 employees.
