AkzoNobel Launches Stone Effect Powder Coating Collection in India
AkzoNobel has introduced a super-durable Interpon D powder coating for architects and designers in the Indian market.
Stone effect coatings are in high demand worldwide, and in India particularly, the terracotta coating is popular as architects continually seek ways to achieve the appearance and quality of natural stone without the challenges of sourcing, transporting, installing and maintaining actual stone, while also avoiding the need for skilled labor and specialized equipment.
Using Interpon D Stone Effect powder coating eliminates all these difficulties and offers much more. Natural stone deteriorates over time and requires continuous repair. The superior durability of Interpon D2525 Stone Effect powder coating protects surfaces for extended periods, with a guarantee of up to 25 years when powder is applied by an Interpon D-approved applicator.
As a powder coating, the super-durable Interpon D2525 Stone Effect is also a sustainable choice. For example, applicators can use nearly all of the product as there is no overspray; excess can be collected and reused, which means no unnecessary waste. Additionally, it contains no volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
Interpon D2525 Stone Effect is supported by an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD); this means the raw materials, production and shipping associated with creating the product have been evaluated by an independent third party for transparent sustainability documentation.
