We Had an Enjoyable Conversation with Mr. Ali Gürses

We conducted a pleasant interview with Ali Gürses, Founding Partner of Sistem Teknik Makina Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. Gürses provided information about the company's areas of operation and the products it offers.

Could you briefly tell us about yourself, your educational background and your professional experience in the sector?

I was born in Tekirdağ in 1969. I completed my primary, secondary and high school education in this city. In 1990, I graduated from the Mechanical Engineering department of Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi. From that date onwards, I have provided engineering services in the areas of production, installation, machinery maintenance and sales at various companies. In 1998, together with my other founding partners, I established Sistem Teknik Makina Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.

Could you outline the development process of your company since its establishment?

Since 1998, the year our company was founded, we have tried to do our work with passion. Customer satisfaction has always been our priority. Therefore, we have become a company in continuous growth trend, moving forward with slow but steady steps. Today, we are progressing towards becoming a global company that employs approximately 200 people and exports to over 60 countries. Could you provide information about Sistem Teknik's products and services?

Our company manufactures and sells in two main categories. The first is electrostatic powder coating application machinery that we manufacture under the Electron brand, and the second is the manufacturing of paint shops that contain all stages.

Could you provide information about Sistem Teknik's domestic and international activities?

We export approximately 65-70% of our production abroad. Within this proportion, we sell to more than 60 countries. We are making efforts to increase this number further, and the preference of foreigners for our products makes us additionally happy and motivates our work.

Could we learn about Sistem Teknik's vision, mission and quality policy?

We mentioned earlier that we take a customer-oriented approach as a company. This is one of the essential matters for us. In many cases, we are ready to make any sacrifice in terms of customer satisfaction, even at the cost of losing money. Our company's main vision has been to operate in accordance with the principle that a satisfied customer brings another customer, but a dissatisfied customer takes away many customers. As a result of 26 years of effort, our company has reached this point and we consider it now belongs to this nation; its continuation for many more years, serving the country's industry with domestic resources, and earning foreign currency for the country are our most important objectives, expectations and wishes.
