Key Appointment at Türk Henkel
Mehmet Yılmaz has been appointed Head of Adhesive Technologies at Türk Henkel. In addition to his role as Director of Operations for Adhesive Technologies Middle East and Africa region, which he has held since 1 February 2021, Mehmet Yılmaz has been appointed Head of Adhesive Technologies and member of the Türk Henkel Executive Board.
Mehmet Yılmaz began his career at Henkel in 1994 in the quality department. He has held management positions in occupational safety and environment, engineering, projects and production. He was subsequently appointed Plant Manager at Henkel's facility in Iran in 2004. Returning to Turkey in 2008 as Plant Manager at Çayırova, Mehmet Yılmaz was appointed Director of Operations responsible for Adhesive Technologies plants in Turkey in 2016. In 2020, he was additionally appointed Beauty Care Plant Manager, and from February 2021, Director of Operations and Projects for Adhesive Technologies Middle East and Africa region. Effective 1 April 2022, Mehmet Yılmaz will assume the position of Head of Adhesive Technologies and member of the Türk Henkel Executive Board in addition to his current responsibilities. Mehmet Yılmaz is fluent in English, holds a degree in business administration, is married and has two children.
