Takeda Türkiye Makes Three New Appointments

Alev Adal joined Takeda Türkiye's management team as Finance Director, Nevin Kahraman Şevkli as Medical Director and Yasemin Hepsert as Business Operations Director.

Alev Adal - Finance Director

After graduating from the Statistics Department of Middle East Technical University, Alev Adal began her professional career in 1995 as a Dealer in the banking sector. In 2001, she moved to the Treasury position in Honda Türkiye's Finance Department, where she served as Assistant Manager in the Budget Reporting Department in the automotive sector. She established the budget reporting department and created the reporting system to improve processes, and directed the SAP migration project. In 2010, she transitioned to the pharmaceutical sector with Novartis, successively taking on roles as Senior Business Planning and Analyst, Budget Reporting, Product Costing Leader, and Business Planning and Analysis Director. [caption id="attachment_158141" align="aligncenter"] Alev Adal[/caption] During her tenure at Novartis, Adal led numerous successful initiatives including the implementation of the KPI reporting system and took responsibility for analyzing and measuring global productivity projects in Turkey. In 2019, she returned to the automotive sector with Still Arser. As of August 2023, Adal was appointed Finance Director at Takeda Türkiye. With her knowledge and experience in finance, she will lead Takeda Türkiye's Finance team and contribute to achieving the company's objectives and creating an inclusive work environment.  

Nevin Kahraman Şevkli - Medical Director

After graduating from the Faculty of Medicine at Istanbul University, Nevin Kahraman Şevkli completed her master's degree in the Business Administration Department at Bilgi University in 2012. She began her pharmaceutical industry career in 2008 at Novartis as Medical Manager in the diabetes field, then continued as Senior Medical Manager. In 2011, Şevkli transferred to Alexion, continuing work in hematology and nephrology. In 2012, Şevkli transferred to Merck and started as Medical Leader in oncology, leading successful projects. She also served as a member of the EMEA regional orientation team and took on medical content leadership in the "Global Oncology Science Hub" project. [caption id="attachment_158142" align="aligncenter"] Nevin Kahraman[/caption] In 2022, Nevin Kahraman Şevkli joined Takeda Türkiye's team as Therapeutic Area Leader in Rare Genetic Diseases. In this area, she provided medical leadership and built a strong team, managed cross-functional collaboration, and provided additional support during the transition of diagnostic support services to medical functions. As of July, Şevkli assumed the role of Medical Director at Takeda Türkiye, where she will be responsible for Turkey's medical strategy and implementation.

Yasemin Hepsert – Business Operations Director

Yasemin Hepsert graduated from the Chemistry Department of Ondokuz Mayıs University in 2000 and completed her MBA Master Program at Bilgi University in 2016. She began her professional career in the pharmaceutical sector in 2000 at Eczacıbaşı Baxter as Sales Specialist. Hepsert held various positions including Regional Manager and National Marketing Manager in different therapeutic areas. Following the Takeda-Shire merger, she joined Takeda Türkiye's team and led collaborations that brought value to the lives of physicians and patients across the divisions she was responsible for. [caption id="attachment_158143" align="aligncenter"] Yasemin Hepsert[/caption] During her tenure, Hepsert successfully managed numerous launch processes and led the design and implementation of many new projects including Hemoflix, HemŞehir, Focus On Meetings and "Be the Architect of Development" focused on the marketing of products in the Hematology business unit portfolio and team development activities. She has actively participated in the "Women Leaders Shaping Healthcare" platform. With her experience in different areas, management skills and inclusive leadership qualities, Yasemin Hepsert was appointed Business Operations Director in October. She will lead the achievement of objectives across 5 different departments at Takeda Türkiye.
