Important Transfer from Takeda Turkey to International Operations
Another successful Turkish executive has been appointed to Takeda's global organization. Dr. Hakan E. Çubuk, Director of Immunology & Gastroenterology and Business Operations at Takeda Turkey, has been appointed as Global New Product Planning Leader for Plasma-Derived Therapies.

The number of Turkish executives appointed to Takeda's global organization continues to grow. The global, value-driven, research-focused biopharmaceutical leader has been operating in Turkey for 13 years and has transferred many successful employees to numerous countries worldwide, from the United States to the United Kingdom, from Switzerland to Singapore. Takeda Turkey has now made another new appointment to its global organization.
Dr. Hakan E. Çubuk, who has served as Director of Immunology and Gastroenterology at Takeda Turkey since 2018 and as Director of Business Operations since 2020, has been appointed as Global New Product Planning Leader for Plasma-Derived Therapies.
After graduating from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine and completing his specialization in the Anatomy Department at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Hakan E. Çubuk obtained an Executive MBA degree from Middle East Technical University's Business Administration program before entering the pharmaceutical sector. Çubuk has held management positions at global pharmaceutical companies for 22 years and began working as Immunology Division Director at Shire in 2018.
Following Takeda's acquisition of Shire in 2019, Dr. Hakan E. Çubuk was appointed as Director of Immunology and Gastroenterology at Takeda Turkey. From November 2020 onwards, he served as Director of Business Operations as an additional responsibility alongside his existing duties. As of 19 December 2022, Çubuk has assumed the role of Global Product Leader for Plasma-Derived Therapies and will begin his new position at the Zurich office.
