Two Senior Appointments at Şişecam

Şişecam, one of Turkey's and the world's leading glass manufacturers, has made two important appointments to strengthen its executive management team.

• Başar Tırpancı was appointed to the position of Deputy General Manager of Sales and Marketing,
• Hakan Çopur was appointed to the position of Deputy General Manager of Supply Chain.
• Both executives assumed their new positions as of 1 September 2025.

Başar Tırpancı – Deputy General Manager of Sales and Marketing
Başar Tırpancı began his professional career in 2005 at Moore Stephens as a Corporate Finance Specialist. After gaining experience at Unicorn Capital Turkey, İş Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş. and Doğan Holding, he joined Şişecam in 2015.

Tırpancı has held positions in company mergers and acquisitions, strategy development and sales & marketing. Most recently, he worked as Senior Director of Şişecam Turkey Region Sales.

A graduate of Galatasaray High School, Tırpancı holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Bilkent University. In his new role, he will lead Şişecam's efforts to reach the right customer segments with value-added products in profitable markets.

Hakan Çopur – Deputy General Manager of Supply Chain
Hakan Çopur began his professional career in 2001 at Procter & Gamble's Brussels Logistics Department. Following his academic studies, he held various management positions at Politron in Russia and Prоaqua in Turkey.

Çopur joined Şişecam in 2015 and held the positions of Supply Chain Director in Russia, Glass Packaging Supply Chain & Integration Director, and Supply Chain Development & Integration Director. Most recently, he served as Senior Director of Şişecam Supply Chain Planning.

Çopur holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Boğaziçi University. He will lead Şişecam's global supply chain management.
