Santa Farma Receives EU-GMP Certification for the 4th Time
Santa Farma İlaç has earned the right to obtain the EU – GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) Certificate for the fourth time following an inspection conducted by the Croatian Health Authority (HALMED) in November 2022, which is required for the validity of its products outside Turkey.
The certificate, which ensures that developed and manufactured products are recognized by authorities outside the country, enables Santa Farma İlaç to develop and license generic products for European Union countries and other regulated markets.
The certificate covers new products currently under development for the European Union market and those for which Drug License File application procedures are ongoing.
Sami Kiresepi, Vice President of Strategic Planning and Operations at Santa Farma İlaç, made the following statement regarding the matter: "Through this inspection process, Santa Farma has once again demonstrated that it is capable of developing and licensing generic products for the European Union and other regulated markets, and of manufacturing products in accordance with the most current GMP requirements and high-level pharmaceutical quality standards.
With our experienced management team, which upholds our institutional culture and demonstrated its knowledge and expertise in this process, and our goal-oriented, highly motivated colleagues, our belief in always achieving better is boundless. We commend all Santa Farma employees who contributed to this process and wish for the continuation of our successes."
