Key Appointment at Linde Gas Turkey Adnan Ünal has been appointed to the position of General Manager / Sales and Marketing Director at Linde Gas Turkey. Ünal brings more than 25 years of experience in the industrial gases sector, having worked in various roles at BOC-Turkey and Linde. He joined Linde in 2007 as Turkey Procurement Manager and assumed the role of Eastern Europe Regional Procurement Director in 2010. In this position, he worked intensively to establish the procurement organization for the Eastern Europe Region. During this period, he made significant contributions to improving regional financial performance, particularly through supply-focused cost optimization initiatives. In September 2020, he was appointed Executive Director for Eastern Europe and Middle East Region with responsibility for Sales and Marketing. He notably contributed to ensuring seamless operation of the Linde supply chain during the pandemic period. Additionally, he supported the region's pricing performance through projects he developed. As a result, despite unforeseen cost increases due to rapidly changing energy prices and inflation, Linde maintained strong financial performance in the region. He led the region's initiatives in green and renewable energy, hydrogen, cryogenic gases, and carbon emissions reduction. Married with one child, Adnan Ünal is a graduate of the Mechanical Engineering Department at Middle East Technical University, where he also completed his master's degree. He has completed an Executive MBA from Koç University and postgraduate studies on leadership at Oxford University.
