# Important Appointment at Polisan Holding Mahmut Temiz has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer at Polisan Holding. Mahmut Temiz, ranked among Turkey's 50 most effective HR executives, will be responsible for human resources strategies and processes at Polisan, which operates in the paints and coatings, chemicals, port operations and real estate sectors. Polisan Holding, which has pioneered numerous initiatives in Turkey's chemicals, paints and coatings, and port operations sectors and driven their development, has added a notable figure to its ranks. In a statement by the holding, it was noted that Mahmut Temiz has been appointed to the position of Group Human Resources Director. Mahmut Temiz, who appears on the "Fortune Turkey 50 Most Effective Human Resources Executives (CHRO) 2021" list, stands out particularly for his expertise in international standards in human resources, industrial relations, organizational development, talent acquisition and placement, and training and development.

Who is Mahmut Temiz?

Mahmut Temiz graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Industrial Engineering in 1996, and began his professional career in 1997 as Product Manager at Wittur Holding. From 2001 to 2006, he served as Director of Industrial Management and Research at the Turkish Metal Industrialists Association, followed by positions as Deputy Manager of Human Resources and Industrial Relations at Toyota Otomotiv A.Ş., Board Member at the Glass and Cement Industrialists Employers Association, Group Human Resources Director at Şişecam, and most recently Chief Human Resources Officer and Group Human Resources Director at BMC Otomotiv and Savunma A.Ş. Leading the development of performance-based improvement philosophy in Turkey's workforce, Mahmut Temiz has been serving as Human Resources Director at Polisan Holding as of 5 January 2022.
