PLASFED Elects New President

The Extraordinary General Assembly Meeting of the Plastics Manufacturers Federation (PLASFED) was held on 20 June 2019 in Istanbul with strong attendance from the plastics industry. In the voting conducted, Ömer Karadeniz was elected unanimously as Board Chairman. At the PLASFED General Assembly meeting, where a total of 1,306 plastic industry enterprises were represented through the Ankara Plastics Manufacturers Association, Bursa Plastics and Packaging Manufacturers Association, Aegean Plastics Manufacturers Solidarity Association, Kayseri Plastics Operators Association, Composites Association and PAGDER Plastics Manufacturers Association, the new management and supervisory boards for the Federation's 2019-2021 term were also elected. The management and supervisory board members resulting from the General Assembly consisted of the following: Ömer Karadeniz (Chairman), Şener Gencer (Vice Chairman), Tolga Kutluğ (Vice Chairman), Yusuf Özkan (Member Treasurer), Mehmet Hakan Atalay (Member Secretary), Selçuk Gülsün (Board Member), Kazım Sertdemir (Board Member), Ayhan Çatalkaya (Board Member), Hakan Efe (Board Member), Tarık Özdemir (Board Member), Teoman Arıkan (Board Member), Kenan Benlilers (Supervisory Board Member), Hüseyin Yücel (Supervisory Board Member), Selçuk Erdem (Supervisory Board Member).
