Global Appointment Made at Merck Turkey

Merck Turkey Announces Global Appointment As part of Merck's commitment to prioritizing the career journeys and development of team members, another global appointment has been made. Ayşegül Erkahraman, who has served as Senior Manager of Market Access and Pricing since 2014, will now continue her duties as "MEAR Region, Global Value Demonstration, Market Access and Pricing (GVAP) Operations Director".

Who is Ayşegül Erkahraman? Ayşegül Erkahraman completed her undergraduate degree in Chemistry at Istanbul Technical University and her master's degree in Chemistry at Boğaziçi University. She has held positions in regional and global projects at Merck. Merck's career began in 2014 as Department Manager of Market Access and Pricing. Effective 1 June 2023, Erkahraman was appointed as "Global Value Demonstration, Market Access and Pricing (GVAP) Operations Director". In this position, Erkahraman will assume responsibility for Market Access and Pricing matters in the MEAR Region (Middle East, Africa, Turkey, Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States). Ayşegül Erkahraman has made significant contributions to Merck Turkey's product portfolios across all therapeutic areas and successfully managed various projects at the Global Pricing and Reimbursement Unit in Germany, serving for a period of 6 months. Before joining Merck, Erkahraman worked at the Research-Based Pharmaceutical Companies Association (AİFD) and various pharmaceutical companies, bringing a total of 23 years of experience in quality assurance, research and development, regulatory affairs, market access and pricing.
