Merve Karcı Gençer Appointed Global Strategic Marketing Director for Neurology & Immunology at Merck

Merve Karcı Gençer, who has worked at Merck Turkey since 2010 and has served as Oncology Therapeutic Area Director since 2018, has been appointed to the position of Neurology & Immunology Global Strategic Marketing Director at Merck in Massachusetts, United States.Gençer has 15 years of professional experience in sales and marketing; she previously served as Management Trainee at Maersk Logistics, and as Product Specialist and Product Manager at L'Oréal and Santa Farma. After graduating from Galatasaray High School, Merve Karcı Gençer completed her undergraduate degree in Business Administration at Boğaziçi University. Working in the areas of Metabolism, Thyroid and PKU, Growth Hormone and Neurology&Immunology, she contributed significantly to Merck Turkey winning awards three consecutive times at the Global Brand Forum through projects developed with her team. Gençer has provided continuous and innovative contributions to the success of her business area. With expanded responsibilities in the MEA (Middle East Africa) Region, she has also taken an active role in new product initiatives in the Neurology and Immunology field.
