KROHNE Appoints New Chairman of the Advisory Board

KROHNE appointed new advisory board chairman and new management board. Prof. Dr. Rolf Theenhaus stepped down as advisory board chairman and retired. Michael Rademacher-Dubbick took over the advisory board chairmanship. Dr. Attila Bilgiç (CEO and Spokesperson), Stephan Neuburger (CBDO), Ingo Wald (CFO) and Ansgar Hoffmann (CSO) were appointed as the new management board of KROHNE Group. The new management board and new advisory board chairman took office effective 1 January 2020. At KROHNE, a family-owned company, the transition is viewed as a generational change aimed at meeting future market challenges. After nearly 40 years, Prof. Dr. Rolf Theenhaus, Chairman of the KROHNE Group Advisory Board, handed over his duties and retired. The advisory board and all employees thanked Rolf Theenhaus for his dedication and creative talents, the continuous innovations he implemented and the new business areas he created for KROHNE.

Michael Rademacher-Dubbick, who has successfully managed KROHNE Group as a shareholder for over 25 years, was appointed as the new chairman of the advisory board.

This step underscores the owning family's continued close involvement and connection with the company's operations. Dr. Attila Bilgiç, who has served on the management board since 2017 and has been Chief Technology Officer since 2009, was appointed as the new President of KROHNE Group's executive board and new Spokesperson of the management board. Dr. Bilgiç will be responsible for research and development, intellectual property, manufacturing, quality management, marketing and product management. On the other hand, Stephan Neuburger, who has served as a management board member since 1999, will take on the role of Chief Business Development Officer, responsible for developing new business areas. Additionally, effective 1 January 2020, Ingo Wald and Ansgar Hoffmann were appointed to the new management board. Ingo Wald, appointed as Finance Director, will head the finance and human resources departments. He has served as General Manager of KROHNE Messtechnik GmbH since 2006 and will continue in this position alongside his management board duties. As the fourth management board member, Ansgar Hoffmann will assume responsibility for KROHNE Group's sales activities as Sales Director. Recently serving as Vice President for DACH Eastern Europe and most recently joining KROHNE from GEA Group, Ansgar Hoffmann brings extensive experience in management positions, particularly in sales roles.
