Johnson & Johnson MedTech Appoints New Executive for NORDICS

Johnson & Johnson, one of the world's largest healthcare companies, continues to make significant global appointments from its Turkey operations. Refik Öner, General Manager of Johnson & Johnson MedTech Turkey and MISSA (Maghreb, Iran, Sub-Saharan Africa), has been appointed as General Manager of Johnson & Johnson MedTech NORDICS (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland). Drawing inspiration from its 135-year history and global vision, Johnson & Johnson MedTech Turkey, with its patient/surgeon/nurse-focused approach and ethical values, waves the flag of our country on the international stage through the executives it exports to global positions. Refik Öner to Assume New Position as of 1 April 2022 Refik Öner joined the Johnson & Johnson MedTech organization in 2018 as Director of Emerging Markets Strategy and Operations Coordination. Öner took on the role of General Manager of Johnson & Johnson MedTech Turkey and MISSA in 2019. Having successfully performed his duties in the challenging business environment created by the COVID-19 pandemic and difficult economic conditions, Refik Öner has been appointed as General Manager of Johnson & Johnson MedTech NORDICS (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland) effective 1 April 2022. Öner Has Held Management Positions for 25 Years Refik Öner, who graduated from the Industrial Engineering Department of Middle East Technical University in 1997, held management positions at Procter & Gamble, Reckitt Benckiser and Koç Group companies before joining Johnson & Johnson. Over his approximately 25-year career, Öner has held management roles with increasing responsibilities in various business units across many geographies including Turkey, United Kingdom, Continental Europe, United States, Middle East and Africa, bringing with him a career rich in diverse experience. Refik Öner will relocate to Sweden with his wife during 2022 and continue his new position and career in Stockholm.
