Atalay Gümrah Appointed CEO of İGA Holding
Atalay Gümrah has been appointed CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of İGA Holding A.Ş., the parent company established in March 2024 for İGA İstanbul Airport, one of the world aviation sector's leading brands and a hub whose status as a global transfer center is strengthening by the day. Gümrah will take up his new position as of 15 January 2025.
Atalay Gümrah has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of İGA Holding A.Ş., the parent company established in March 2024 by İGA Istanbul Airport, one of the leading brands in global aviation and increasingly strengthening its position as a global hub. Gümrah will assume his new position as of 15 January 2025.
After graduating from Galatasaray Lycée, Gümrah completed his undergraduate and graduate education in Industrial Engineering at Boğaziçi University. He began his professional career in 1992 at Eczacıbaşı Group. Gümrah held various senior positions at group companies including Ekom, Vitra UK, EBM Jsc in Russia, and İntema.
After serving as senior executive at companies within the Eczacıbaşı Building Products Group, Gümrah served as Chief Executive Officer of Eczacıbaşı Group and General Manager of Eczacıbaşı Holding A.Ş. from February 2017 to December 2024.
Gümrah is fluent in English, Italian and French. He is married with two children.
İGA Holding A.Ş., established in March 2024, aims to achieve a significantly stronger international position together with İGA Airport Operations A.Ş. and all other group companies.
