Zafer Korkulu Appointed Deputy General Manager at IC İçtaş Enerji Yatırım Holding

 

At IC İçtaş Enerji Yatırım Holding, Zafer Korkulu, who brings 22 years of sector experience, has taken on the role of Deputy General Manager of Regulation and Public Relations. In his new position, Zafer Korkulu will assume responsibility for strategic areas including strengthening IC İçtaş Enerji Yatırım Holding's relations with the industry, maintaining sustainable cooperation with regulatory bodies, and effective management of public policy. 

 

Zafer Korkulu joined the IC İçtaş Enerji Yatırım Holding family as of 2 June 2025. 

After graduating from the Electrical-Electronics Engineering department at Bilkent University, he completed his master's degree at The University of Texas at Austin in the field of Energy and Natural Resources. Korkulu began his career in 2003 as Energy Expert Assistant at the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK), and subsequently served as Energy Expert, Board Advisor, and Head of Energy Markets Monitoring Group within the institution. 

 

Since 2022, Zafer Korkulu has served as Head of the Energy Transformation Department at EPDK, and thanks to his expertise, he stands out as a specialist capable of evaluating energy markets from technical, environmental, and regulatory perspectives.
