Senior Appointment at Gürmen Group

Gürmen Group, one of Turkey's leading conglomerates with investments in ready-to-wear retail, energy, agriculture and technology sectors, has made a senior appointment. Erkmen Onbulak, who brings extensive experience in the retail sector, has been named the new Deputy General Manager of Sales at Gürmen Group.

Erkmen Onbulak began his career in 2000 at Zorlu Tekstil Group, where he served successively as Sales and Regional Manager, Marketing Manager, and Deputy General Manager responsible for Retail Organizations. In 2011, Onbulak was appointed General Manager of Linens Marketing at Zorlu Tekstil Group, and later was assigned to the position of General Manager responsible for Retail Organizations at Zorlu Tekstil Group. As of 2020, Onbulak took office as CEO of Hunca Kozmetik A.Ş and HuncaLife, and most recently served as Deputy Chairman of Karaca License and Brand Management.

Onbulak completed his undergraduate and doctoral degrees at Istanbul University Faculty of Economics, an Executive MBA at Istanbul Technical University, and a master's program at Harvard Business School.
Erkmen Onbulak will lead and direct the future sales activities of Gürmen Group, which includes men's fashion brands RAMSEY and KİP as well as companies such as Maspo Enerji, Gökkale Tarım, and Gürmen Teknoloji.
