Senior appointment at Avon

Avon has expanded the role of Nilay Birgören Erhan, who has served as Head of People and Culture for Turkey since July 2021, to now cover Turkey, Morocco, Egypt, and distributor markets (Head of People&Culture, Turkey, NA, DM). Avon has made changes to the leadership position within its People and Culture team, which was previously structured as the TMEA region, in order to better align with the new APMA regional structure and leading market model. Nilay Birgören Erhan, who has served as Head of People and Culture in Turkey since July 2021, will now be responsible not only for Turkey but also for Morocco, Egypt, and Distributor Markets. Successful track record in her career at Avon

Avon joined Avon in February 2009 as a Senior HR Business Partner and has achieved significant accomplishments throughout her career. Birgören Erhan has led commercial and cultural transformation initiatives while carefully maintaining the delicate balance between people and business focus. Her expertise in change management played a pioneering role in managing complexity and the dynamic macro environment, as well as in structuring the organization during the implementation of the Multi-Channel model in Turkey. Birgören Erhan has also made important contributions to the company through her vision of developing local talent and transitioning them to global roles within Avon. Nilay Birgören Erhan is also a certified Gestalt and ICF coach (ACTP and EMCC) and an experienced Avon mentor. Nilay Birgören Erhan holds a bachelor's degree in International Relations from Middle East Technical University and a minor degree in sociology. Before joining Avon, she worked in the Talent Acquisition team at Doğuş Automotive Group and as an HR Supervisor at GE Real Estate, where she managed the people and culture integration A&M for Doğuş and GE Real Estate. Nilay Birgören Erhan is married and mother of two sons.
