Archroma Appoints New CFO

Archroma announced the appointment of Thomas Bucher as new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective 1 October 2021, replacing Roland Waibel who is retiring.

Thomas Bucher has an extensive career in the finance sector, having held CFO roles at leading industrial and service companies, as well as senior finance positions in the chemical industry.

He joins Archroma from Alpiq Holding AG, where he has been Group CFO and member of the Executive Management Board since 2015. Prior to Alpiq, Thomas Bucher was Group CFO at Gategroup, where he spent 6 years supporting the company's initial public offering and subsequent strategic repositioning. Before that, he held a series of senior finance positions at Ciba Specialty Chemicals for more than 12 years.
