Akkök Holding Announces Key Appointments

Veysi Küçük appointed Executive Board Member and CFO at Akkök Holding; Ozan Hançer takes on Strategic Planning and Business Development Director role. Akkök Holding, which operates in many sectors including chemicals, energy and real estate, has announced new appointments. Following İhsan Gökşin Durusoy, who took the chair of Akkök Holding's Executive Board on 1 January, Veysi Küçük, General Manager of Akcoat, a chemical coatings materials producer and subsidiary of Akkök Holding, has been appointed Executive Board Member and CFO of Akkök Holding. Ozan Hançer, who served as Strategic Planning, Business Development and Investor Relations Director at Akiş GYO, has been appointed to the role of Strategic Planning and Business Development Director. [caption id="attachment_148510" align="aligncenter"] Veysi Küçük[/caption] Veysi Küçük began his career in 1999 as a Management Trainee at Demirbank T.A.Ş., worked as a manager at HSBC between 2001 and 2003, and served as a specialist in the Business Planning and Budget Control Department at Evyap A.Ş. between 2004 and 2007. Joining Akkök Holding in 2007 as Assistant Manager in the Finance Directorate, Veysi Küçük served in various capacities at Ak-Al Tekstil, an Akkök Group company, between 2008 and 2012, holding the position of Deputy General Manager responsible for accounting, finance, budget and strategic planning, and investor relations. Appointed New Projects Director at Akkök Holding in 2012 and serving as Strategic Planning and Business Development Director at Akkök Holding between 2013 and 2015, Küçük has been serving as General Manager of Akcoat since 2015. Veysi Küçük graduated from the English Business Administration department at Istanbul University in 1999 and completed an MBA in Business Administration for Executives at Yeditepe University in 2022. Ozan Hançer began his career in the finance and banking sector. In 2005, he worked as a Management Trainee in the Risk Management Department at Garanti Bankası, and between 2007 and 2008, he worked as a Corporate Finance Specialist at İş Yatırım on mergers and acquisitions processes. Serving as Senior Specialist on investments at Unicorn Capital Venture Capital between 2008 and 2010, Hançer joined Akkök Holding in 2010. At Akiş Gayrimenkul Yatırımı A.Ş., Hançer held positions as Strategic Planning and Business Development Specialist, Business Development and Shareholder Relations Manager, and Business Development and Investor Relations Manager. Since 2017, he has been serving as Strategic Planning, Business Development and Investor Relations Director at Akiş GYO A.Ş. Ozan Hançer graduated from the Civil Engineering department at METU in 2002 and completed his MBA at Bilkent University in 2005.
