Abdimed Appoints New Executive

Abdi İbrahim, a 19-year-old brand in the Turkish pharmaceutical sector, has strengthened its professional team with a new appointment. Yalım Üner, appointed as General Manager of Abdimed, will contribute to Abdi İbrahim and the sector with his successful work in the journey to "improve life and the future." Abdi İbrahim, which has always prioritized investment in human resources, has added Yalım Üner, one of the sector's successful figures, to its management team. Starting his position as General Manager at Abdimed, which operates under the Abdi İbrahim umbrella in the marketing and sales of consumer health products, as of 1 July 2021, Yalım Üner graduated from Ege University School of Medicine in 1986 and held important positions at national and international companies in the pharmaceutical sector. [caption id="attachment_126838" align="alignleft"] Yalım Üner[/caption] During his career, Yalım Üner served as Medical and Registration Director at Nutricia Early Life Nutrition, Central Europe and Middle East Research and Development Director at Nutricia Research/Amsterdam, General Secretary at Danone Turkey (Legal, Ethics Compliance, Corporate Relations, Internal and External Communications, Data Security for Tikveşli, Hayat, Sırma and Nutricia), Medical and Corporate Relations Director at Nutricia, and most recently as General Manager of Nutricia Turkey-Iran before becoming the new General Manager of Abdimed. Abdi İbrahim continues to advance its export success to more than 60 countries with its operations in 13 countries year after year. Operating strong business partnerships with more than 30 licensors worldwide and placing great emphasis on corporate social responsibility projects, Abdi İbrahim foresees a doubling of its business volume in its 2025 strategy.
