YEO Teknoloji and Efor Holding Sign Agreement to Convert Sivas Wind into Green Energy

YEO Teknoloji, one of Turkey's leading engineering and technology companies, is launching another significant project that will contribute to Turkey's green transition. YEO Teknoloji has signed a contract with Yellice Elektrik Üretim A.Ş., part of Efor Holding. Under this agreement, YEO Teknoloji will undertake the turnkey EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning) processes for the Yellice Wind Power Plant with 160 MW installed capacity to be built in Sivas.
 
Annual energy generation of 450 GWh
Projects developed through the Renewable Energy Resource Areas (YEKA) model contribute to Turkey's energy independence alongside domestic engineering capacity. A significant step toward reaching Turkey's 2050 net-zero carbon target, the Yellice Wind Power Plant will increase the share of renewable sources in energy production while preventing approximately 270,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually. The Yellice Wind Power Plant will reach a total installed capacity of 160 MW with 23 turbines of 7 MW capacity each. Once operational, the plant will generate approximately 450 GWh of electricity annually.

Contribution to Turkey's green transformation vision
Under the contract valued at USD 9,986,000, YEO Teknoloji, which develops end-to-end solutions from energy generation to distribution, will undertake the complete design, engineering, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning of electrification and automation infrastructure. The project strengthens YEO Teknoloji's technical leadership in wind energy while reinforcing its position as a reliable partner in sustainable energy transformation.

Target of 1 GW green energy
