ASAŞ Achieves First in Aluminum Sector

ASAŞ Aluminium, one of Turkey's leading industrial enterprises, has earned the ISO 20400 Sustainable Procurement Guidelines Certification, adding another significant step to its determined sustainability efforts. As the first company in the aluminium sector to obtain this certificate, ASAŞ has once again demonstrated its pioneering role in the sustainability vision.
 
The ISO 20400 Certification stands out as an international standard that encourages organisations to adopt sustainable business models not only in their own operations, but throughout their entire supply chain. Through this certification, ASAŞ has proven its commitment to spreading sustainability across the entire value chain by taking environmental, social and governance (ESG) responsibilities more strongly together with its business partners.
 
ASAŞ General Director Derya Hatiboğlu commented on the matter: "Sustainability is not merely a goal for ASAŞ, but a management philosophy that we have placed at the centre of all our business processes. The ISO 20400 Certification is evidence that we are systematically implementing this approach in our supply chain as well.
