"Rising Together Again" – KYK Yapı Kimyasalları launches a new era and begins seminars in earthquake-affected cities. KYK Yapı Kimyasalları, in partnership with renowned Japanese earthquake expert Yoshinori Moriwaki, will provide training on earthquakes and building reinforcement in earthquake-affected regions. The first training seminar will take place on 28 September in Hatay. KYK Yapı Kimyasalları will lead earthquake seminars organized by Japanese earthquake expert, architect and civil engineer Yoshinori Moriwaki. Moriwaki will conduct earthquake awareness activities in provinces and districts across Turkey's earthquake zones – Hatay, İskenderun, Adana, Osmaniye, Kahramanmaraş, Elbistan, Gaziantep, Adıyaman, Diyarbakır, Malatya, Elazığ and Erzincan – between 28 September and 29 November 2023. The seminars will cover earthquake causes and effects, methods to reduce damage, building reinforcement techniques and applications, and actions required during and after earthquakes. Participants will also learn about earthquake management and disaster response systems as implemented in Japan.

Earthquake-Resistant Buildings Are Critical

Earthquakes pose a serious threat to many regions in Turkey.
