"New Generation Interview Experience" Programme Held
Merck Türkiye and BÜMED, in collaboration, organized the "New Generation Interview Experience" programme this year, continuing the "Curious Minds Career School" that was launched in 2021.
Following last year's launch of the "Curious Minds Career School", surveys conducted with participants revealed that young people needed more comprehensive and interactive work on recruitment processes.
At the "New Generation Interview Experience" programme, opened by Merck Türkiye General Manager Şehram Zayer, Zayer made the following remarks on the subject:
"As Merck Türkiye, we are pleased to have implemented the Curious Minds Career School project in collaboration with BÜMED. In this year's session, I reminded our young friends once again that success is not a matter of chance, and that one must work with responsibility, determination and emotional resilience. As Merck Türkiye, one of our priorities is to reach young people from many universities and support their development. We will continue our efforts for our youth in the coming period." Mescioğlu expressed the following regarding the programme:
"Our young participants who want to plan their career journeys had question marks in their minds about recruitment processes. When creating the New Generation Interview Experience programme, we set a comprehensive agenda where they could find answers to these questions and invited highly experienced speakers in their respective fields. The feedback we received after the programme shows that our project has received a positive response from young people. This made us very happy." The programme included comprehensive information about job interview processes, interview tips from Human Resources professionals and Merck managers, CV preparation techniques and interview simulations. The CV preparation techniques and interview simulation sessions were conducted by Tuğba Nart and Tery Yıldız from Reed Türkiye, the programme's valued business partner. They emphasized the value their company places on corporate responsibility, social impact and sustainability, noting that they are pleased to be part of a project that will benefit young people. The "Curious Minds Career School", aimed at enabling future leaders and innovators to gain knowledge about the pharmaceutical sector, was implemented last year as a comprehensive six-week learning journey into the unknowns of the pharmaceutical industry. Enriched this year with the "New Generation Interview Experience" programme, the project will continue in the coming years with different initiatives.Advertisement
