New Generation Export Efforts Gaining Momentum

Exporting firms that make significant contributions to Turkey's economy continue their investments in 2022 to increase their volumes. Exporters determined to keep pace with developments in next-generation exports are strengthening their technological infrastructure while placing greater emphasis on e-exports in their operations. Henes Grup, which connects exporters with foreign customers in sectors including medical products, IT and furniture, aims to complete its digital integration for e-exports. Fırat Tek, General Coordinator of Henes Grup, stating that they aim to contribute further to Turkey's export volume by utilizing digital capabilities, said: "In the new world order, many dynamics of trade have changed, just as there have been many changes in how we reach people. I attach importance to B2B platforms. They will make a major contribution. We are working on how our integration should be in this respect. The introductory development sections have been completed, now we are in the final phase. We will be much more active in the field. Gradually our visibility and trust index are increasing."

The shortest path from Turkey to the world

Stating that their goal is to open Turkish manufacturers' products to the world, Tek said: "As a group, since our establishment in 2020, we have been a firm engaged in foreign trade. We gather demand from abroad and try to meet these demands particularly from within Turkey. Our aim is to collect foreign demand and connect it with producers in Turkey. We are being somewhat nationalist here in a sense. This is our ideal in a way."

Digitalization and e-exports

Regarding the steps they have taken toward e-exports and digital transformation and the new parameters of trade, Tek said: "We laid the foundation with TurkishExporter to create a large-volume export movement. With the efforts of TurkishExporter, God willing, we will realize this goal of ours. So far we have had export activities with two countries. We can see requests coming from many countries, evaluate them internally and respond to our counterparts. We maintain communication with companies from nearly 15 countries through TurkishExporter. We continue our communication to convert these discussions into trade." Source
