Adhesives and Sealants Sector Set to Reach Global Markets Through ADHESIVE SEALANT EURASIA

Adhesive & Sealant Eurasia, Turkey's only trade fair for the adhesives and sealants sector whose contribution to Turkey's economy is growing daily, will be held at Istanbul Fuar Merkezi on 25-27 October 2018.

The Adhesive & Sealant Eurasia fair, featuring adhesives, sealants, production and application equipment, will take place simultaneously with the Eurasian Composites Show and InterDye & Textile Printing Eurasia at Istanbul Fuar Merkezi's halls 9, 10 and 11, creating strong synergy in the industrial adhesives and sealants sector.The adhesive sector uses various chemicals and serves industries including packaging and paper manufacturing, woodworking, maintenance and repair, building and construction, footwear and leather goods, and electronics and electro-technology—both in industrial applications and daily consumer use. Leading exports to Turkic republics, Middle Eastern and North African countries, the adhesives and sealants sector continues to increase Turkey's export figures. In this context, the sector's annual export volume is approximately USD 180 million. Today, adhesives are used in nearly every product, from small packaging to automobiles and from white goods to furniture. The sector encompasses various adhesive and sealant types—from anaerobic curing adhesives and contact adhesives to reactive sealants, hardeners, plastisol adhesives, and water-based adhesives.

Internationally, many countries host specialized trade fairs on the production and application of adhesives and sealants.
