Valmet to Supply Tissue Paper Production Line to Lila Group

Valmet will supply a complete Valmet Advantage DCT 200 tissue paper production line to tissue manufacturer Lila Group. The production line will be equipped with state-of-the-art options including pulp preparation, reeling machine and a comprehensive automation package that will provide high efficiency and low energy consumption. Installation of the line is planned for 2021. Valmet has agreed with Lila Group, a tissue manufacturer based in Çorlu, to install a fourth production machine. TM4 (Tissue Machine 4) will be a complete Valmet Advantage DCT 200 tissue paper production line. Valmet had previously supplied three more Advantage DCT 200 tissue paper production lines to Lila Group. TM1 started production in 2007, TM2 in 2012 and TM3 in 2020. Lila Kağıt has been investing in the latest technologies from the beginning and has decided for the fourth time to install the reliable Advantage DCT technology."

State-of-the-art TM4 will provide 70,000 tonnes additional capacity

The tissue paper production machine to be supplied by Valmet consists of a complete Advantage DCT200 tissue paper production line that includes pulp preparation equipment and a Focus Reelite 25 ENS reeling machine. The Advantage tissue paper technology also includes systems such as ViscoNip press, cast iron Yankee dryer and SoftReel roll. The order also includes a comprehensive automation package with DCS, QCS and softness sensor. Commissioning and training of the production line to be installed will also be part of the delivery. The new machine, which will add 70,000 tonnes of tissue paper production capacity to the domestic and export market, will have a width of 5.6 metres and a design speed of 2,200 metres/minute.
