Univar Solutions Acquires H.M. Royal

The acquisition of H.M. Royal strengthens Univar Solutions' Performance Materials business while expanding access to specialty products, technical expertise, and long-standing customer relationships.

Univar Solutions LLC, a leading provider of global solutions for specialty ingredients and chemical product users, announced the acquisition of H.M. Royal, a respected distributor with a 101-year history operating in rubber, plastic and adhesive additives. The integration of H.M. Royal strengthens Univar Solutions' Performance Materials operations within its Ingredients + Specialties business unit; particularly expanding access to specialty products, technical expertise, and long-standing customer relationships, especially on the East and West Coasts where H.M. Royal maintains a strong presence. Through the combination of the two organizations, H.M. Royal customers will continue to benefit from the technical expertise and trust-based relationships that form the foundation of the company's success, while gaining access to Univar Solutions' broader scale, logistics network and digital tools.
