International Polymer Processing Society Conference's Main Sponsor: Kordsa

Kordsa served as the main sponsor of the International Polymer Processing Society Conference, one of the most important organizations in polymer processing, held for the 35th time this year, and delivered two presentations at the event. The presentations, in which Kordsa shared its two innovative technologies, were followed with interest by participants. The International Polymer Processing Society Conference, which keeps track of the polymer industry's pulse, took place from 26-30 May 2019 in Çeşme, İzmir this year. Kordsa undertook the main sponsorship of the 35th International PPS Meeting. The conference, which featured prominent scientists, engineers and designers from numerous universities and industrial companies in the polymer field as speakers, drew strong interest from sector representatives.Within the scope of the conference, which Kordsa sponsored as the main partner, Kordsa shared the work conducted in its tire reinforcement and composite technologies R&D centers. With a presentation titled "Experimental Determination of Convective Heat Transfer Coefficients in the Yarn Production Line," Kordsa shared work in which it obtained its own heat transfer correlations that can be used in yarn production line cooling process modeling studies. The other presentation was "New hybrid additives for thermoplastic compounds: Growth of carbon nanofibers on graphene via Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) method," which conveyed information about thermoplastic prepregs developed by Kordsa.
