Türkiye Will Be Painted Orange
LÖSEV launches awareness week for all children with leukemia from 2-8 November. This year, all of Turkey will be painted orange in support of children fighting leukemia.
Every year in our country, under the leadership of LÖSEV, the first week of November is designated as "2-8 November Children with Leukemia Week" and is included in the special weeks framework by the Ministry of National Education.
This year as well, the 2-8 November Children with Leukemia Week will continue to raise awareness about leukemia through events brought to life with the support of institutions, schools and universities.
However, this year LÖSEV is preparing to raise awareness through orange, the symbol color of leukemia. The goal of this awareness movement is to communicate to all of Turkey that leukemia is a treatable and preventable disease, and to draw attention to the difficult struggle of children with leukemia.
