Tayfun Küçükoğlu Named New President of Türkiye İMSAD

Türkiye İMSAD New Term Chairman Tayfun Küçükoğlu At the 38th Ordinary General Assembly of Türkiye İMSAD, the umbrella organization of the building materials sector, a new management was elected. Türkiye İMSAD's new term began with its first Board of Directors meeting, in which Tayfun Küçükoğlu was unanimously re-elected as Board Chairman. Tayfun Küçükoğlu, who was elected Chairman of the Türkiye İMSAD Board of Directors for the second consecutive time after serving in management boards for many years, stated: "In the coming period, we will provide greater benefit to our country and sector through increased coordination within the industry." At the 38th Ordinary General Assembly of the Turkish Building Materials Manufacturers Association (Türkiye İMSAD), the management and supervisory boards that will serve for a 3-year period covering 2023-2026 were determined. At the meeting held on 28 February 2023 at Limak Eurasia Hotel, Tayfun Küçükoğlu, General Manager of Betek Boya, was elected Chairman of the Türkiye İMSAD Board of Directors for the second consecutive time.

In his opening remarks at the 38th Ordinary General Assembly, Türkiye İMSAD Board Chairman Tayfun Küçükoğlu, expressing his sorrow over the earthquakes that occurred in Kahramanmaraş and caused great suffering in 11 provinces, said: "Unfortunately our pain and loss are very great, and our wounds are very deep. Since the first day of the earthquake, citizens from all corners of our country united with one heart for relief efforts. We experienced once again the unique spirit of unity and solidarity characteristic of our nation. I am confident that with our unparalleled capacity for mutual aid, we will heal our wounds together. As Türkiye İMSAD, from the first day of the earthquake, we have been in contact with many institutions including TOBB, TÜSİAD, the Ministry of Industry, and the Ministry of Commerce to ensure that aid reaches the points of need through a single channel. We relay the requests from these institutions and our associations to our members in the relevant product groups, providing the necessary connections and coordination. We are working to convey the information and needs that reach us through our members' dealer networks and field teams in the region to the appropriate authorities. I am grateful to all our members who have provided support at a level of mobilization. As Türkiye İMSAD, we are working on projects that will create lasting and exemplary impact, and I believe we will unite our strengths. I pray for God's mercy for those who lost their lives in the earthquake, one of the greatest disasters in the history of the Republic, patience for grieving families, and swift recovery for our wounded citizens."
