Turkish Tuborg’s KÖK Development Program Receives International Award from CSR Excellence Awards

Türk Tuborg's KÖK Development Program, launched to prepare female engineering students studying in food, agriculture and chemical engineering for professional careers, has achieved significant international recognition. The program was awarded in the "Equal Opportunities" category at CSR Excellence Awards, one of the world's prestigious corporate social responsibility award organizations.

The KÖK Development Program, aimed at enabling second, third and fourth-year female engineering students from universities across Turkey to make a strong start to their careers in the food and beverage sector, received an award from the UK-based CSR Excellence Awards, which examines companies' work in social responsibility, sustainability, equality and social impact.

Türk Tuborg's social impact project, which provides female engineering students with opportunities to benefit from both professional and personal development teachings, was awarded in the "Equal Opportunities" category at the organization whose gala was held in London on 1 June, with applications evaluated from numerous countries including the United Kingdom, Sweden, Canada and India.

Focusing on gender equality with the aim of strengthening women's representation and impact in the business world, Türk Tuborg's KÖK Development Program is beginning its second phase following the development journey completed in its first year with the participation of 100 female engineering students. Following strong interest in the first year, the program has increased its capacity and will welcome 125 female engineering students this year.
