TSKB supports education
Industrial Development Bank of Turkey (TSKB), which continues to support education in provinces affected by the earthquake, opened its 6th enriched school library (Z-library) at 15 July Martyrs Primary and Secondary School in Siverek district of Şanlıurfa under the '11 Libraries in 11 Provinces' project.
Through the '11 Libraries in 11 Provinces' project, TSKB supports equal opportunity in education and sustainable improvement in 11 provinces affected by the 6 February earthquakes. Under the project, the 6th enriched school library (Z-library) was opened at 15 July Martyrs Primary and Secondary School in Siverek district of Şanlıurfa. Through the school library project named 'TSKB 100th Year Republic Library', nearly 5,000 students studying in earthquake-affected areas have so far been provided with over 25,000 books.
Nearly 5,000 students reached with 25,000 books and educational support materials
The first TSKB 100th Year Republic Library under the '11 Libraries in 11 Provinces' project was opened in Adıyaman on 12 September 2023. Following Adıyaman, TSKB reached 6 libraries in 8 months across Gaziantep, Kahramanmaraş, Osmaniye, Adana and Şanlıurfa. Thus, thanks to TSKB, nearly 5,000 students in 6 different cities have been provided with 25,000 books and educational support materials.Providing easy access to information and a pleasant working environment
Z-libraries, representing the next-generation library concept, provide children with easy access to information and a pleasant working environment. Activities that support reading skills and mental development are featured in these libraries, which stand out with their aesthetic design.
