Applications open for Chemistry R&D Project Market with total prize of TRY 150,000
Innovative ideas and projects that will add value to the chemical sector continue to be supported through the "R&D Project Market in the Chemicals and Chemical Products Sector."
Coordinated by the Turkish Exporters Council (TİM), the "6th R&D Project Marketplace in the Chemicals and Chemical Products Sector" is being organized in partnership with İKMİB and AKMİB, and will bring together universities, research institutions, industrialists, entrepreneurs and relevant government agencies.
Having become one of the successful examples of university-industry collaboration in the chemical sector, the R&D Project Marketplace in the Chemicals and Chemical Products Sector will accept applications until 31 October. Projects will be evaluated in 5 different categories: Pharmaceuticals and Pharmaceutical Products, Paints and Adhesives, Plastics and Rubber, Cosmetics,
Soaps and Cleaning Products, and Basic Chemicals. The "6th R&D Project Marketplace in the Chemicals and Chemical Products Sector" will showcase projects that can be converted into products.
Among the submitted projects, the owners of the top 30 projects will make detailed presentations to the members of the Awards Board on 19 November 2016 at the Istanbul Foreign Trade Centre.
At the ceremony held after the presentations, awards will be presented to the winning projects. A total of TRY 150,000 in prizes will be distributed across the 5 different categories of the competition: first place winners will receive TRY 15,000, second place TRY 10,000, and third place TRY 5,000.
