Design Idea Club Continues

Design Ideas Club Continues In collaboration with Akbank Sanat and Özyeğin University's Faculty of Architecture and Design, the new lecture series "Design Ideas Club" – which opens discussion on the state of the design discipline in Turkey and worldwide – continues in December. The efforts to sustain design as an independent discipline in Turkey, particularly in fields such as industrial design, communication design, interior architecture and environmental design, as well as its relationship with other areas such as arts, technology and gastronomy form the focal point of Design Ideas Club discussions. The new seminar series, featuring panels in an interactive format with leading thinkers in their respective fields in Turkey, aims to bring fresh momentum to design discussions in our country. The Design Ideas Club event, to be moderated by Assoc. Prof. Ayşe Hazar Köksal, will take place on 28 December Wednesday at Akbank Sanat Beyoğlu with the participation of Assoc. Prof. Ebru Yetişkin and Prof. Esra Aliçavuşoğlu. In the discussion titled "From Design in Art to the Art of Design," an interactive debate format will be followed, with responses provided to questions from the audience.
