Key Appointment at Takeda

Takeda Turkey General Manager Şeyda Atadan Memiş appointed as General Manager of Takeda United Kingdom and Ireland Country Group. The number of successful Turkish executives in Takeda's global organization continues to grow, as the company ranks among the world's top 10 pharmaceutical firms and experiences rapid growth globally. Şeyda Atadan Memiş, who has held important positions in the pharmaceutical sector for approximately 20 years and has served as General Manager of Takeda Turkey since 2019, has been appointed as General Manager of Takeda United Kingdom and Ireland Country Group. After graduating from the Chemical Engineering Department at METU, Şeyda Atadan Memiş completed her Master's degree in Business Administration at METU and has also served in organizations such as the Turkish Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (AİFD) and Professional Women Network (PWN). During the merger process that began with Takeda's global acquisition of Shire, Şeyda Atadan Memiş became General Manager of Takeda Turkey in 2019 and successfully managed the integration of the two institutions and their consolidation under a single structure. During her initial period in office, Şeyda Atadan Memiş united teams from two different organizations around Takeda values and extended institutional culture to both teams, creating strong synergy, and together with her team accomplished highly valuable work.
