TABA Meets in Çorlu to Discuss Turkish Organized Industrial Zone Investment Abroad

Turkey's leading industrialists, business people, associations, state officials and industrial park heads gathered at the Tekirdağ Çorlu Hilton Hotel to learn about recent developments regarding an industrial park that TABA-AmCham is planning to establish in the United States to enhance the competitive strength of Turkish business people abroad. The meeting, organized under the leadership of TABA-AmCham and with the support of the Tekirdağ Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was opened by Müjdat Ayan, TABA Çorlu Member. The meeting was attended by Tekirdağ Chamber of Commerce Board Chairman Cengiz Günay, Heads of Thrace Organized Industrial Parks, prominent Thracian industrialists and business people, TABA General Chairman Ali Osman Akat, TABA Senior Advisory Board Chairman Ali Bayramoğlu and TABA Board Members. Tekirdağ Chamber of Commerce Board Chairman Cengiz Günay said in his remarks at the meeting that he closely follows the work of the Turkish American Business Association, stating: "Professional chamber managers and civil society organization representatives have important responsibilities. I value and support the work done by all our organizations regarding having a greater voice in world trade." TABA Senior Advisory Board Chairman Ali Bayramoğlu said they aimed to bring together a minimum of 500 companies that are considering investments in the general organized industry, aiming to increase capacity, wanting to enter new markets, with aspirations to become a brand and who are enthusiastic about the project. TABA Senior Advisory Board Chairman Ali Bayramoğlu, who said they planned to complete discussions and infrastructure work in 2020, stated: "By starting production there in 2025, we will have created a 7-8 billion dollar investment that can be a role model in the world, and we will have done so in a very successful manner without using any additional resources."
