The Dairy Industry to Meet at the National Dairy Summit

The summit aims to bring together all stakeholders in the dairy industry to address the sector's most current issues, lay the groundwork for new partnerships and advance the dairy sector into the future with stronger steps. With more than 500 participants, 40 speakers and over 100 companies in attendance, the summit will share the latest developments in the sector and promote domestic and international collaborations. The summit provides many opportunities such as interactive panels, exhibition area, social events and media visibility. Sector representatives from all over Turkey and international participants will shape the future of the dairy industry by sharing innovations in the sector. The summit, organized under the theme Local Strength, Global Vision, stands out as an important platform guiding the sector.
National Dairy Council Directs the Sector's Future
Hamit Can, Chairman of the Management Board of the National Dairy Council, stated: "Among the main topics to be addressed at the National Dairy Summit are digital transformation and automation in the dairy industry, strategies for access to global markets, the importance of patents, geographical indications and regional products on the path to global branding. In addition to topics such as consumer trends and brand value creation, innovative products and new generation nutrition trends will also be discussed. At the summit, the milk value chain from farm to glass, methods to increase productivity and waste reduction strategies will be discussed, while the role of packaging in the process of creating added value in milk and dairy products will also be addressed.
The summit will focus on the effects of climate change on dairy farming and animal welfare issues, highlighting the place of successful female producers in the sector and women's contributions to the dairy sector. Consumer safety, social media and crisis management strategies, the role of the feed industry in animal nutrition and scientific facts about dairy products from a metabolic perspective are among the main topics to be discussed at the summit."
