Sustainable Food Summit to Be Held on 19-20 October

Sustainable Food Summit Set for 19-20 October Organized by Sustainability Academy and TÜGİS in cooperation, with support from the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the 'Sustainable Food Summit' scheduled for 19-20 October will take place with participation from leading figures from around the world and Turkey. Held annually by Sustainability Academy and TÜGİS in parallel with World Food Day, the 'Sustainable Food Summit' reaches its seventh edition. In the period following the pandemic that affected the entire world, the summit will examine the current boundaries of the food industry and the state of food systems, addressing barriers to transformation, potential risks and solutions in future food systems for healthy individuals, next-generation businesses and a livable world. The summit will bring together leading food brands, entrepreneurs, investors, public sector and civil society – all stakeholders playing key roles in this transformation – to discuss solutions to current and potential challenges facing the sector. During the summit, sector stakeholders will exchange views under the headings of sustainable agriculture, climate change, circular economy in food, innovation for transformation, supply chain resilience, food retail, consumer behaviour and holistic nutrition.
