Sözal Kimya Earns "Authorized Economic Operator Certificate"

Sözal Kimya, which has been operating since 2007 with textile, plastic, hygiene and water treatment solutions, has qualified to receive an Authorized Economic Operator Certificate. By fulfilling all inspections and requirements and holding the AEO certificate, Sözal Kimya became one of the few chemical companies to obtain this document.   With a broad range of textile chemicals and dyes products, Sözal Kimya brings its products to markets not only in Turkey but also in different countries around the world; securing its position among companies that are reliable and meet conditions as specified by regulations, the company qualified to obtain the Authorized Economic Operator Certificate.

Certificate held by select companies in the chemical sector

Noting that they are among the select companies in Turkey holding the AEO certificate, Sözal Kimya Board Chairman Eren Sözal, stated: "AEO, internationally known as 'Authorized Economic Operator', is a concept that minimizes customs processing time in import and export procedures for reliable companies that meet conditions as specified by regulations. Additionally, under this concept, companies can have imported goods delivered directly to their factory or send exported goods from the factory to the customs border. As Sözal Kimya, to access this concept, we implemented exemplary practices in Foreign Trade Operations Processes, Information Security Management Systems and Security Procedures as requested by the state, and as a result of the inspection we passed, we qualified to obtain the certificate. We take pride not only in having this certificate, which is held by select companies in Turkey and particularly in the chemical sector, but also in serving as an example for our industry."
